Trying to come up with a blog title is so. much. pressure. It feels so permanent. Welcome to inside my head. What could I label it that would define it . . . forever? I’m always excited to learn about something, or more accurately, somethings. See: writing, marriage, raising three teenagers (!), my spiritual walk, homeschooling, leadership and mentorship, loving where you live, minimalism, food, bullet journals, capsule wardrobes, and other snippets and meanderings.
I didn’t really want to start a blog, but my Mom told me to. And my writer friends Rachel and Margie told me to. And Josh Becker told me to in this post right here. (Hi, Josh. You don’t know me, but thanks for the inspiration. I’m taking your word for it.)
So. I’m taking the plunge. Now I’m just going to go right over here and hit that Publish button.
But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31
I’m a writer with a lifelong passion for learning. I’ve spent the last 24 years momming, teaching my 3 almost-grown-and-flown children, and working with my husband of 26 years. I’m loving country life (being a pretend farmer) just outside my hometown of Richmond, VA. Here is where I’ll spill my guts on the things of the heart we all share: faith, life, love, family, and anything else that tumbles through my mind.
